TreatStreet was built for kids, which means safety and privacy come first. Here's exactly how it works — and the controls you have as a parent.
If a child indicates they're under 13, their account stays inactive until a verified parent or guardian approves it. We use a dedicated consent service to confirm the parent's identity before the child can use the app. If consent isn't completed, the account stays locked.
For younger kids, privacy, profile, and account settings are protected by a 4-digit PIN that only the parent sets. Kids can play and post, but they can't change sensitive settings without you.
We collect as little location data as possible. For our youngest users, we don't collect location from the child's device at all. Sharing your location with friends is always an opt-in toggle that's off by default for kids.
Every photo and video is automatically screened by AI before it appears, and the community can report or block anything inappropriate. Content with multiple reports is hidden automatically.
Parents can link to their child's account to see their stats and activity, help manage settings, and unlink at any time. Under-13 accounts can only be unlinked by a parent.
Kid accounts start at the most private settings. Players choose between Anonymous, Friends-Only, and Visible — and age groups are kept separate across maps, feeds, and photos.
